Treo Pro Update
Yesterday, Palm released a cabinet file update for the Treo Pro that fixes a bug with the Pro’s Bluetooth stack.
You should apply this update if “you are in an active call using bluetooth car kit or bluetooth headset and you receive a second incoming call and you let it ring or you ignore the incoming call, the call will be diverted to Voicemail. The first call remains active but you can no longer hear the caller (the caller can still hear you). The audio has been lost. If you answer the call and swap between calls or reject the call, the issue is not seen.”

Last Wednesday, Palm released a software update for the Verizon Centro. Not unlike the updates for the Verizon Treo 700p and 755p, Palm is again vague about the update and what improvements it will bring about.

not have the graphics to make these kinds of wallpapers.”

When Palm dropped the Foleo from its product lineup, we at mytreo.net were disappointed. In our view the ultra-mobile PC segment of the computer market has legs. There is substantial need for a middle ground between full laptop, which can be cumbersome to lug around, and smartphone, which is oftentimes great for e-mail but simply not robust enough for spreadsheet and even word processing work.
Therefore, we have been delighted to get to know the Celio team. You may have seen our video interview with the CEO, who introduced us to their new RedFly product, a “big screen and keyboard” attachment for the Treo. (See “Checkout RedFly” below.) RedFly represents a middle ground between laptop and smartphone, weighing a fraction of the amount of traditional mobile computer but providing a visual and data entry experience that’s truly exceptional.
Only a very short time after launch, Celio substantially reduced the price from almost $500 down to just $199!
Learn more about Foleo from our substantial past coverage!
