 vAVRdisasm 1.3
 by Vanya A. Sergeev - Thu, Jan 8th 2009 21:39 UTC

About: vAVRdisasm is an Atmel AVR firmware disassembler. It supports all AVR instructions defined by the Atmel AVR Instruction Set, revision 0856E-AVR-11/05. This single-pass disassembler can handle Atmel Generic, Intel HEX8, and Motorola S-Record formatted files containing valid AVR firmware. vAVRdisasm is capable of a variety of formatting options, including representing data constants in different bases, and can output assemble-able code.

Changes: This release corrects a few minor bugs and one critical bug: the calculation of the absolute address, which is used in certain instructions (like absolute jump). Previous versions showed absolute addresses that were not multiplied by two (to account for the 16-bit instruction size), and therefore did not display the correct absolute address. This has been fixed.

 Ximinez 0.3
by Matjaz Terpin - Thu, Jan 8th 2009 15:08 UTC

About: Ximinez is a disk usage analyzer and comparator. It enables you to take snapshots of disk usage for a given folder, to browse through the snapshots, and to view differences between snapshots. Besides the GUI, the package also includes an optional command line tool, which can be used, for example, in conjunction with a scheduler to take snapshots on a regular basis.

Changes: A settings dialog was created. The directory tree remains expanded during sorting, and selection is also preserved. The "file manager" and "terminal" shortcuts should now work out of the box on most Linux distributions and on Windows. There should be no more complaints about "unknown file types" (for things such as sockets and device files), just some notes about ignoring such files. There were many changes made in the generic modules.
