Symantec on Thursday September 16 announced an agreement to acquire
security consultancy @stake for an undisclosed amount. @Stake is the
company that has many well know security product including L0phtCrack.
CUPERTINO, Calif. – Sept. 16, 2004 – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the
global leader in information security, today announced that it has
signed a definitive agreement to acquire @stake, Inc., a leading
digital security company that helps corporations secure their critical
infrastructure and applications. The transaction is expected to close
in October. |
