PalmSource Joins the CELF

PalmSource's announcement that it has joined the Consumer Electronics Linux Forum (CELF).

The CELF consortium, which aims to encourage adoption of Linux for home electronics devices, welcomed the provider of Palm OS as an Associate member.

CELF was established in June 2003 by Matsushita Electric Industrial, Sony, Hitachi, NEC, Royal Philips Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sharp and Toshiba. It currently has over 50+ members.
