Jan 18, 2007 Just announced on ABC News that the parent company of Marshalls & TJ Max had a major security breach. TJ Max reported that in December 2006 hackers broke into their computer and were able to access information about all credit cards, debit cards and check used at their stores. This could impact 4 million card holder in the country. To make sure you are not a victim of identity fraud, contact your credit bureau and watch your credit account very closely. You may also want to put a Fraud Alert on your account. For 90 days, any changes to your account or your credit would have to be approved directly by you.
